The Story So Far

Vinorandum was originally founded as a database and blog website to store the notes, reflections and long form writings of Paul Caputo. In frustration with the limitations of static Excel sheets and the temporary nature of plug in and play blog websites, Paul was determined to create a directory of wines, producers, regions and grapes that was interactive, that could exist in relation to each other and could remain relevant over the course of time.

As the project developed, the goal changed to a website that could provide an accurate, comprehensive picture of the global wine trade, showcasing who was producing what and where. Paul is working with a software engineer to continuously improve the website and develop new functionality that can benefit producers, merchants, consumers and communicators.
